Webinar 6: Monoclonal Antibodies for COVID-19
Resources for CBOs / Webinar 6: Monoclonal Antibodies for COVID-19
Though vaccination rates continue to rise and infection rates fall across the United States, it’s important to remember that thousands of people are still testing positive for the coronavirus every day. And COVID-19 continues to have a disproportionate impact on underserved communities and ethnic minorities. These same groups are eligible for potentially lifesaving therapies, including monoclonal antibody (mAb) treatments.
At this event, presenters answer important questions about monoclonal antibodies including how the treatment works, who is eligible, what it costs, and how community-based organizations (CBOs) can help educate and raise awareness about the treatment and access to it. This webinar is part of a CDC Foundation special series specifically tailored to CBOs and their partners.
