Requests for Proposals

The CDC Foundation issues requests for proposals (RFP) to sub-grant funds received for a specific project. These RFPs will seek:

  • providers of products or services required for a specific CDC Foundation program with CDC, or
  • eligible nonprofit or governmental organizations that wish to participate in a CDC Foundation program addressing a specific health issue.
  • a consultant/independent contractor (i.e. a sole proprietor, company, nonprofit, etc.) whose services are retained for a specified activity/project during a set time frame. The consultant/independent contractor works independently and is paid according to the terms of their written agreement with the Foundation. The consultant/independent contractor is not an employee of the CDC Foundation.

B2B Thought Leadership and Content Development for the Workforce Acceleration Initiative

The CDC Foundation seeks a qualified agency or consultant to develop compelling B2B thought leadership and technical assistance content (i.e., infographics, one-sheets, case studies, bylined articles/blogs, white paper, social media graphics, toolkit, etc.) showcasing the impact of the Workforce Acceleration Initiative (WAI) on public health systems nationwide. This initiative addresses critical technology and data workforce gaps within public health agencies (PHAs), enabling them to modernize their information systems and improve public health outcomes.

Workforce Acceleration Initiative Video/Photography Production

The CDC Foundation seeks a qualified production company to develop compelling photography and video content showcasing the impact of the Workforce Acceleration Initiative (WAI) on public health systems nationwide. This initiative addresses critical technology and data workforce gaps within public health agencies (PHAs), enabling talented technology experts to modernize these information systems and improve public health outcomes.
